HackerRepos is a web app that indexes over 57k GitHub repositories and 667k mentions from Hacker News, offering trending, sentiment analysis, and mention graphs for repos discussed on HN. It builds on the recent 'HackerTube' and 'HackerBooks' trend, adding a finviz-style heatmap and paywalled real-world use case discovery. While the concept is a derivative of existing HN aggregator sites, it packages useful signals for discovering trending developer tools.

Target audience: backend devs, developers looking for tools, tech trend watchers
