Cerea is a self-hosted chat front end for any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, bundling knowledge bases, sandboxed artifacts, in-browser Python via Pyodide, office document generation, MCP connectors, and a coding-agent panel (galopin). It is a hard fork of huggingface/chat-ui paired optionally with its own Pystino gateway for per-user billing and quotas. The feature breadth is notable, but the crowded self-hosted LLM-UI space limits its novelty.
Target audience: self-hosting enthusiasts, backend devs, and teams deploying private LLM infrastructure
