Show HN: Lantern Lattice – the call graph from your compiler, for coding agents
Category: devtools

Score: 7.8/10 (Innovation: 8, Technical: 8, Documentation: 8, Utility: 7)
Lantern Lattice builds an exact call graph for multiple languages by driving the language's own compiler or type checker (rust-analyzer, tsrs, pyrefly, scip-go, clangd), then exposes it both as a CLI and as MCP tools for coding agents, so agents can trace callers/callees, measure impact, and edit by symbol instead of relying on grep. It also provides a live WebGPU visualization of the graph. The concept of grounding agent tooling in compiler-resolved symbol data rather than text search is a meaningful and technically demanding combination.
Target audience: backend developers, AI coding agent users, tooling engineers
