Show HN: Keeping tabs on updates in my stack was overwhelming so I built unstale

Score: 7.3/10 (Innovation: 7, Technical: 7, Documentation: 8, Utility: 7)
unstale monitors release notes, migration guides, and security advisories for your dependencies and surfaces only the changes that apply to your code, feeding them to AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and opencode. It combines a centrally maintained, signed catalog with local lockfile analysis to deliver per-bump digests and upgrade reviews, claiming 4x more relevant findings than naive agent use at 1/16 the tokens. The project addresses a real and growing pain point: keeping AI agents aware of upstream changes without overwhelming them or leaking private code.
Target audience: backend devs, frontend devs, devops, platform engineers using AI coding agents
