Acoustic Orbit is a Mac app that synchronizes audio playback across multiple speakers (wired, USB, Bluetooth, and Raspberry Pi-based) using microphone-based clock synchronization, achieving roughly millisecond accuracy. It's interesting because it solves a real multi-speaker sync problem without requiring proprietary hardware or a receiver, using a novel combination of acoustic measurement and adaptive compensation.

Target audience: Mac users and audio enthusiasts seeking multi-speaker synchronization for home audio setups
