Elpis is a coding-agent harness built on Codex CLI that applies Rust-inspired ownership rules to multi-agent workflows: each agent owns its own folder/worktree, writers must be followed by a read-only check, conflicting writers are refused, and a Mother agent reviews before merging. It also adds a Context Ledger for explicit per-agent context control, plus a terminal UI and Electron desktop app with workflow patterns like Sequential, Parallel, Kahn waves, Recursive, and Voting.
Target audience: backend devs, devops, AI engineers, and developers orchestrating coding agents
