Relaynet is an open-source relay that gives browser tabs a real network by forwarding Ethernet frames over WebSocket to provide IPv4 TCP/UDP connectivity. It builds on a user-space TCP/IP stack and adds hosted-mode features like accounts, quotas, and OIDC. The project is interesting for enabling browser-based VMs and user-space stacks to access the internet without native networking.
Target audience: backend devs, devops, browser VM developers
