HackerTube for Apple TV is a SwiftUI tvOS client that surfaces YouTube videos shared on Hacker News, backed by a self-updating pipeline that mines the full HN archive, enriches with YouTube metadata, classifies 30 topics via a local LLM, and serves immutable hashed JSON files from Cloudflare. The system design (backfill + incremental ingest + on-device For You ranking + content-addressed static files) is thoughtful, though the app itself is a thin viewer that defers playback to the official YouTube app.

Target audience: iOS/tvOS developers and Hacker News enthusiasts
