Maintainers Coffee is a service that lets you send a small coffee (USD $8) to open-source maintainers via a unique GitHub-linked link, as an alternative or complement to GitHub Sponsors. It simplifies showing appreciation with a physical gift but is a niche convenience rather than a technical innovation.

Target audience: open-source maintainers and their supporters
