Castov bundles a collection of local developer utilities (CIDR math, epoch conversion, secret scanning, port inspection, etc.) into a single CLI, Docker image, IDE extension, and MCP server so AI agents and developers can run deterministic operations offline. The MCP integration and privacy-first framing are reasonable, but the underlying tools are largely conventional (DevToys/CyberChef-style) and the project shows essentially no community traction.
