stat-pg is a StatsD-inspired metrics aggregation system built as a PostgreSQL plugin, claiming over 1 billion metrics per second using eBPF/XDP kernel bypass, UDP batching, and pre-aggregated time-bucket storage. The approach of pushing high-throughput metrics into PostgreSQL using unlogged tables and sequential B-Tree merges is interesting, but the README is almost entirely benchmark disclosures with no installation, usage, or API information.
Target audience: backend devs and devops engineers
