Score: 6.3/10 (Innovation: 6, Technical: 7, Documentation: 8, Utility: 4)

Tyrtulia (formerly BBJ) is a headless forum server for small Unix communities, exposing a hypermedia REST API with passwordless auth, real-time SSE, search, and moderation. It's interesting for its deliberate API-first, no-UI design that lets users write their own clients for tilde and pubnix servers.

Target audience: backend devs and small Unix community operators
