On Air is a Chrome extension that overlays fun visual reactions and persistent 'shows' on top of your webcam feed in browser-based calls like Meet, Zoom, and Teams. It works by registering a virtual camera that composites effects in-browser, so other participants see the reactions in recordings too. It's a clever, lightweight consumer gimmick with a nice privacy story, though it only works on browser calls and largely duplicates what native call effects aspire to do.

Target audience: remote workers and online call participants, especially casual users on browser-based meetings
