ablauf is a narrow diagram DSL where the author explicitly controls layout (columns, rows, edge sides) instead of relying on automatic layout as Mermaid does. It compiles to deterministic, themed SVG with line-numbered diagnostics, and targets agent-writable, human-readable diagrams. The main appeal is reproducibility and agent-friendliness, but the scope is deliberately limited to two diagram kinds with no Mermaid interoperability.
Target audience: backend developers, technical writers, agent/tooling developers
