HISTOR is a public transparency log for MCP tool definitions that crawls the official MCP registry, digests tool sets, signs labels with AWR/2, and appends them to an RFC 9162 Merkle log. It fills a real security gap in MCP by making tool definition changes auditable and allowing clients to verify they received the same tools others saw.
Target audience: security engineers, backend developers, AI/ML engineers working with MCP
