CapChief is a lightweight Windows screenshot and annotation tool built with C# and NativeAOT, utilizing raw Win32 and GDI+ for a tiny 2 MB executable. It offers region capture, annotation, GIF recording, and a history feature, all with comprehensive keyboard shortcuts. Its appeal lies in being self-contained, fast, and dependency-free, making it a practical alternative to bulkier screenshot utilities.
