LexFrame is a toolkit for interpreting language model residual streams by transporting hidden states through the model's remaining layers and reading them in the model's own vocabulary, instead of applying a fixed lens per layer. It enables layer-by-layer attribution and steering of predictions, and claims to surface known information from much earlier layers than logit or Jacobian lenses.
Target audience: AI/ML researchers, mechanistic interpretability practitioners, NLP engineers
