Quick Chat is a macOS menu-bar app that brings back a global ⌥Space shortcut to open chatgpt.com in a floating panel, bypassing the new ChatGPT app's agent-based Mini overlay. It also unbinds the conflicting Mini shortcut and restores it on quit. The project is a focused, well-documented workaround for a specific UX regression rather than a fundamentally novel tool.

Target audience: macOS power users and ChatGPT desktop users
