RainDesktop is a macOS app that renders realistic rain, water physics, and even a John Wick-style mafia fight as an overlay behind your windows. It uses Metal for efficient rendering and cleverly bounces drops off window title bars, with a flood mode and interactive characters. It's a polished and whimsical project that showcases technical skill in graphics and physics simulation.
Target audience: macOS users, graphics enthusiasts, developers interested in Metal and physics simulation
