CoIsland (formerly Codenotch) is a macOS and Windows menu bar/notch app that unifies usage limits and status for over 20 coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, local Ollama, etc.) into a single glanceable interface, with optional phone pairing. It reads credentials and local sessions from tools already installed rather than requiring separate sign-ins, and handles a wide range of provider-specific protocols and auth flows. The project shows strong technical breadth and thoughtful documentation, but its value is concentrated among developers juggling many AI coding subscriptions.

Target audience: developers and AI engineers using multiple coding assistants
