Unclutter (also known as Hush) is a browser extension that provides a reader mode by modifying the original web page in-place rather than re-rendering content, preserving visual style and interactivity. It includes an article library, crowdsourced blocklists, auto-activation, chapter outlines, social comments integration, and highlights. Its innovative approach and solid engineering make it a notable open-source alternative to existing reader modes.

Target audience: general users, frontend developers, productivity enthusiasts
