Agent DMs provides a project-local MCP server that gives AI agents a shared, durable SQLite inbox for direct peer messaging and coordination. It implements claim/acknowledge semantics with leased batches, idempotency keys, and a manager/worker protocol. It's interesting as a lightweight messaging substrate for multi-agent workflows, though it's experimental, Linux-only, and not yet on main.
Target audience: AI engineers building multi-agent systems, backend devs integrating MCP into agent workflows
