KubeZap is a Kubernetes operator that enables declarative, event-driven workflow automation using custom resource definitions (CRDs). It allows defining triggers from webhooks, Kafka, cron, etc., and executing multi-step flows with HTTP calls, transforms, and branching, all managed as Kubernetes objects. Its key innovation is isolating credential handling in a separate executor pod to keep secrets out of etcd and the workflow database.
Target audience: DevOps engineers, platform engineers, backend developers working with Kubernetes
