Hypercolor is an open-source RGB lighting engine that unifies control of diverse RGB devices across Linux, Windows, and macOS. It uses an embedded Servo browser to render effects as web pages on a virtual canvas, which are then spatially sampled onto physical LED layouts, enabling resolution-independent effects at up to 60fps. With 184 supported devices, 58 built-in effects, and GPU-accelerated compositing, it offers a powerful and extensible alternative to proprietary solutions.
Target audience: desktop developers, Linux enthusiasts, RGB hobbyists, and makers
