Mealshark is an unofficial Chrome extension that enhances MealPal's web app by adding meal discovery tools like filtering new meals, sorting by discount, and showing transparent prices. It also corrects MealPal's discount calculation error caused by comparing post-tax to pre-tax prices. The project is a niche utility for MealPal users, built with AI assistance and tested with synthetic fixtures.

Target audience: MealPal users
