Score: 4.8/10 (Innovation: 5, Technical: 5, Documentation: 5, Utility: 4)

Miru is a screen zoomer daemon for Wayland, inspired by the X11-based Boomer. It provides a daemon (miru-daemon) and a control CLI (miructl) to toggle a zoom overlay, allowing users to magnify the screen with cursor-driven panning. Written in C to directly interact with Wayland protocols, it fills a gap for Wayland users missing a lightweight zoom tool.

Target audience: Linux users, developers, and presenters using Wayland compositors
