Blackbear.app is a private collaboration and messaging app that emphasizes privacy through QR-code-only connections, end-to-end encryption, and no public discovery or phone number requirement. It combines messaging, calls, and a social timeline in a closed network, but lacks technical details and appears to be an early-stage product with limited public documentation.

Target audience: privacy-conscious users and small teams seeking closed communication
