Deskies is a Mac app that provides ambient presence for friends across companies, enabling small social rituals like waving, break invites, and shared focus timers without chat threads. It aims to recreate casual coworker interactions for remote workers, but the README is minimal and the project appears early-stage with limited information.

Target audience: remote workers and friends seeking lightweight social presence
