GrowSpot is a web-based tool that estimates whether a specific spot in a room is suitable for a given plant by considering light levels and other environmental factors. It addresses the common misconception that a whole room has uniform brightness, emphasizing the steep light gradient. The project is interesting for its practical approach to plant care and its use of measured data to illustrate the problem.
