AppSift is a free macOS app that lets users search and compare App Store apps with filters Apple doesn't natively offer, such as price history, chart positions, and deal tracking. It's interesting because it fills a genuine gap for power users frustrated by the App Store's limited discovery tools, all without accounts, tracking, or monetization.

Target audience: Mac power users and consumers who want better App Store search and price tracking
