Echodot is a local-first desktop AI writing assistant that drafts replies in the user's tone, triggered by a global hotkey and pasting results into any app. It combines Tauri, React, and Ollama/OpenRouter to keep data private while offering optional cloud models, targeting the growing 'AI everywhere' productivity gap.

Target audience: knowledge workers, developers, privacy-conscious users
