Orthant is an open-source macOS window manager that lets users snap windows via keyboard shortcuts or draw a custom region on a grid overlay. It stands out for its polished UX, custom region saving with bindable shortcuts, and a clean Flutter/Swift architecture that keeps the overlay non-activating and idle at 0% CPU. While conceptually similar to other tiling managers, its draw-and-save workflow and cross-platform seam are notable.

Target audience: macOS power users, developers, and productivity enthusiasts
