Lacquer is an iOS app that detects fake 'hi-res' lossless audio files by decoding and analyzing audio on-device using FFT. It distinguishes real lossless from upscaled lossy files by examining high-frequency roll-off, sample rate consistency, and spectral edge stability across the track. The app combines a full-featured music player with verification tools and optional Pro features.

Target audience: audiophiles, music collectors, iOS users
