Category: devtools

Tags: macos, apfs, snapshots, version-control, file-recovery

Score: 7.7/10 (Innovation: 7, Technical: 8, Documentation: 7, Utility: 8)

DeltaSnap provides a fast undo layer for macOS by leveraging native APFS snapshots, enabling per-file version control, diffing, and granular restores. It fills a gap in snapshot management by indexing filesystem history and offering a CLI, Finder integration, and an AI agent skill, all built on a rare private entitlement from Apple.

Target audience: macOS power users, developers, and system administrators
